SGF Fairfax’s embryology lab is equipped with the latest technology to give patients every advantage on their journey to conceive, including HEPA-filtered clean air ventilation systems, heated work stations that simulate the In Vivo (Latin for “within the living”) environment, anti-vibration tables that prevent harm to specimens should the table shake, highly sophisticated inverted microscopes to better evaluate embryo growth and development, and advanced incubators and media, among many others.

Meet the IVF lab director at SGF Fairfax: James Graham, M.S., E.L.D.
James Graham, M.S., E.L.D. is an Embryology Laboratory Director, certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB). He earned his master’s degree in animal science and reproductive physiology at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
James serves as Vice President, Laboratory Operations and lab director at SGF in Towson, Rockville, and Fairfax VA.

Kristine Milne, T.S.
Kristine Milne, T.S., is a Technical Supervisor in Embryology as certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB). With more than 18 years of experience at SGF, she serves as the lab manager at SGF in Fairfax. Kristine is currently pursuing her master’s degree in reproductive clinical services. In her spare time, she enjoys running and spending time with family.
