Physicians and other program specialists will host a series of in-person seminars and online webinars throughout the month of November. These events are intended to provide valuable insight and information about topics ranging from getting started with fertility treatment, when to see a fertility specialist, financial options, and more. To make each event as informative as possible, all events—either virtual or in-person—conclude with a question and answer session with a physician expert allowing attendees to get their questions answered.
“What to Expect When You’re Not Expecting” is one of the seminars that will be hosted by Dr. Rebecca Chason of Shady Grove Fertility’s Annapolis, MD offices. During the seminar, Dr. Chason will debunk common fertility myths, provide guidelines for diagnosing infertility, outline options for treating infertility, and offer patients information about affording treatment through the practice’s unique financial options. It is the goal of the practice’s educational events to provide attendees with the information, tools, and resources to make an informed decisions about seeking treatment.
Whether couples are trying to conceive on their own or with the help of fertility treatments, the months leading up to conception are just as important as the time you are pregnant. Dr. Lauren Roth of Shady Grove Fertility’s Frederick, MD and Harrisburg, PA locations, will host a Preconception webinar on Tuesday, November 7 at noon. Dr. Roth will address what to consider before pregnancy such as medical history, lifestyle, and general health considerations and how these factors could play a part in one’s ability to conceive.
Through the practice’s event series, one of the most important takeways to impart on attendees is not to wait to seek the help they might need to start a family, as early fertility intervention will lead to more favorable outcomes.
