Last month, Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) began seeing patients at their brand new locations in Fredericksburg, VA and Richmond, VA. To help spread awareness about local infertility treatment options, SGF is hosting free events in each of the new locations in October, November, and December. The Richmond event “What to Expect When You’re Not Expecting” will answer important questions about when to see a fertility specialist, as well as common causes of infertility, what to expect during the physician consult, fertility testing, and financial options.
“Our event is intended to inform people about the importance of early fertility intervention. The earlier couples seek help from a fertility specialist, the more treatment options that are available to them, and the better their outcomes,” says Johnston, who will be hosting the Richmond event on Tuesday, October 23 at 6:00 p.m.
In Fredericksburg, information seekers are invited to attend a free seminar with Rosalie Gunson, CRNP on Wednesday, November 7 at 8:00 p.m. and with Dr. Nancy Durso on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. “Since it can be intimating for people to think about seeing a fertility specialist, at this event, we walk attendees through the entire process from start to finish so there are no surprises. We understand that patients are coming to see us during a deeply sensitive time in their lives, and we’re here to offer them every advantage to getting pregnant,” adds Durso.
