Lancaster, PA — Shady Grove Fertility (SGF), one of the nation’s premiere fertility centers, is proud to welcome Dr. Melanie Ochalski to the Pennsylvania medical team. Dr. Ochalski is accepting new patients at SGF’s Lancaster, PA location—conveniently located off US Route 283 and near the Shoppes at Belmont Town Center. The Lancaster, PA location is one of five locations in Pennsylvania, with others located in Center City/Philadelphia, Chesterbrook, Warrington, and Mechanicsburg. The high demand in Lancaster and positive patient response prompted the addition of a second reproductive endocrinologist in the region.
The SGF Lancaster, PA office will be home to Dr. Ochalski along with Kara Nguyen, M.D. Both board certified reproductive endocrinologists offer patients a collaborative approach to patient treatment and care. Melanie Ochalski, M.D. is board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)–Magee-Womens Hospital.
She has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and review articles in many leading scientific journals and has been invited to present at national meetings. She is the recipient of multiple scientific and teaching awards.

Dr. Ochalski is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the North American Menopause Society. Her interests include assisted reproductive technologies, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), ovulatory disorders, and recurrent pregnancy loss.
