When to seek care & what to expect
Not only is infertility common, affecting 1 in 8 couples, but it does not discriminate — infertility affects men as often as women. Knowing when to seek help is based on how long you’ve been having unprotected intercourse without conception and the woman’s age. Early fertility testing and treatment offers the best chances of success.

SGF offers innovative financial options, including their flagship 100% refund guarantee program for IVF and donor egg treatment. Just a few of the many SGF financial programs are briefly summarized here. Your personal financial counselor will help you understand the best options based on your goals, preferences, finances, and treatment plan.
100% Refund Program for IVF and Donor Egg
The SGF 100% Refund Program is a 100% money back guarantee for IVF or donor egg treatment. The program has expanded age eligibility to include patients up to 41, the only guarantee program in the nation for women over 40. More than 25,000 have chosen the 100% IVF Refund Program so far and 82% of participants have become parents through this program. Patients choosing this plan may attempt up to six IVF or donor egg cycles for a flat fee. When you take a baby home, SGF has earned the fee. In the event treatment is unsuccessful, or if you choose to withdraw from the program, 100% of the fee is refunded.*
Genetic testing of embryos is included for all participants ages 38-40. 100% Refund Program for Donor Egg fees are higher and vary by program.
*Some exceptions apply, see contract for details.
Shared Donor Egg Program
The Shared Donor Egg Program is a very popular option that can reduce the cost of treatment by up to 50%, or it can offer a six-cycle 100% refund guarantee for the same cost as a traditional donor egg cycle. In the all-inclusive program, patients pay a flat fee equal to one traditional donor egg cycle that includes the treatment, donor fee, and medications for all six cycles. Sharing a donor does not reduce your chances to conceive.
Shared Risk 100% Refund Program for Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET)
With SGF’s Shared Risk 100% Refund Program for Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET), you will pay a flat amount for unlimited FET cycles, for as many frozen embryos as you may have available at the time you enter the program. In terms of program completion, the following outcomes are possible:
- Successful pregnancy and delivery
- Withdrawal from the program at any time, receiving a full refund
- Use all of the embryos that are available without conceiving and then receiving a full refund
Multi-Cycle Discount Program
The Multi-Cycle Discount Program is an option to consider when your physician’s recommendation and your medical profile indicate it may take more than one IVF cycle to conceive. By prepaying for multiple treatment cycles, this option provides at least a 40% discount off the cost of two fresh IVF cycles and subsequent FET (frozen embryo transfer) cycles. By capping the costs ahead of time, couples are able to pursue the treatment to have a baby and lower the cost should multiple treatments be necessary. The fee for this payment option includes all cycle monitoring, up to two fresh IVF cycles, cryopreservation, first year of storage, and FET cycles. This program is designed for self-pay patients.
Patients who need a gestational carrier or embryo biopsy for PGT-M or PGT-A can purchase a rider(s) for an additional fee.
Egg Freezing Programs
The Assure Fertility Financial Program is one of the only guarantee flat-fee programs in the country for women interested in elective egg freezing. This program guarantees either a certain number of eggs or cycles, whichever comes first.
Assure 20: With Assure 20, women with a favorable ovarian reserve are able to complete up to four egg freezing cycles or reach 20 mature eggs, whichever comes first. Should a patient reach 20 mature eggs or wish to discontinue egg freezing cycles following her first cycle, SGF will issue a partial refund.
Assure 30: With Assure 30, women with a favorable ovarian reserve are able to complete up to five egg freezing cycles or reach 30 mature eggs, whichever comes first. Should a patient reach 30 mature eggs or wish to discontinue egg freezing cycles following her first or second cycle, SGF will issue a partial refund.
Both programs, Assure 20 and Assure 30, include the cost of monitoring appointments, the egg retrieval and cryopreservation.
When you are ready to use your frozen eggs, you will be able to take advantage of the Shared Risk 100% Refund Program for Returning Egg Freezing Patients.

Male factor problems comprise 40-50% of all infertility cases and essentially fall into one of two categories: productive or obstructive. Problems with sperm production can stem from congenital (present at birth) problems with the testicle, hormone-related issues, varicose veins, environmental exposures, or cancer. In these cases, a detailed consultation with SGF’s Center for Male Fertility can help pinpoint potential causes as well as facilitate treatment with the intent of improving a patient’s numbers.
