Streamlined travel & treatment
Complimentary Initial Video Telemed Consultation
All patients receive a complimentary video telemed consultation with Joseph Doyle, M.D., Shady Grove Fertility’s designated physician treating those from Canada. During this consult, Dr. Doyle will go over a brief summary of our programs and the protocol/timeline, as well as your individual medical history. He will get a preliminary understanding of your particular situation, and how Shady Grove Fertility can assist you, prior to paying any expense. If you make the decision to work with our center, we will assign you a clinical team to assist with the pre-screening workup that will be conducted by your local center.
Embryo Transfer
At this time you will only need to come to our center once the embryos have been created.
Reducing the cost of donor egg treatment
We understand that patients are very anxious about affording care and about treatment that may not have a successful outcome on the first attempt, which is why Shady Grove Fertility has created a treatment guarantee program.
Shared Risk 100% Refund Program
Shady Grove Fertility created the Shared Risk 100% Refund Program for patients paying out of pocket for treatment, allowing them to pursue multiple treatments for one flat fee without the worry of cost versus chances of success, and without sacrificing high-quality medical care.
How the guarantee works
The program entitles you to undergo up to six fresh cycles and unlimited frozen embryo transfers (FETs). When you have a successful delivery we have earned the fee. If you do not have a successful delivery, you will receive 100% refund. You are not obligated to pursue a specific number of cycles and can stop at any time and still receive a 100% refund. Around 82% of our patients in this program take home a baby.
Some costs not included in this program are:
• Normal prescreening tests
• Medication for the recipient
• Surgeries not related to IVF
• Recruitment or purchase fees for donor sperm or agency donor egg
There is no difference in the medical treatment provided based on whether patients pay a fee-for-service fee or a Shared Risk fee. The Shared Risk option simply allows us, at Shady Grove Fertility, to assume the bulk of the financial responsibility for your care.
Shared Donor Egg Program
The Shared Donor Egg Program was also developed to make treatment even more affordable for our patients. It can reduce the cost of donor egg treatment by up to 50 percent and can be combined with our Shared Risk 100% Refund Program for Donor Egg.
By sharing donated eggs with one or two other recipients, you can share the cost of the donor, the most expensive part of treatment. We are well-practiced in synchronizing each recipient’s treatment cycle with the donor, without compromising our patients’ chances for success. An analysis of more than 2,000 donor egg cycles at Shady Grove Fertility clearly demonstrated that the majority of egg donors will produce enough eggs to share with more than one recipient.
No wait for donors
One of the largest in-house fresh donor registry in the nation
There is no wait for donors as all of our donors have been medically pre-screened and are ready to begin their donation cycle as soon as their cycles are synced with yours. The donor registry features lengthy donor profiles with information about the donors’ personal and family medical histories, photos, and essays explaining why they are interested in donating their eggs.
Fresh and frozen donor egg options
At Shady Grove Fertility, you will choose your donor from either our fresh or frozen donor registry. The fresh registry allows you to participate in the Shared Donor Egg Program where the frozen registry allows for a faster time to treatment as the donors have already cycled and their eggs are immediately available.
Experience you can rely on
Largest fertility program in the United States
With more than 100,000 babies born, our center is the largest in the nation and, with size, comes a level of experience that our patients can rely on. In addition, we complete the largest number of egg donation cycles in the United States.

What patients are saying about Dr. Doyle
“I recommend Dr. Doyle to everyone! I was at such a low point by the time I met him, and from our very first meeting, he made me hopeful, he made me feel understood, and he listened to me put all my ‘crazy’ out on the table. He responded to every concern I had, no matter how trivial. He is always patient, and took so much time with my husband and me. He went above and beyond.”
“My husband and I couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience during a difficult time in our lives. Dr. Doyle always took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure we felt comfortable with all decisions and all of our questions were answered. He is very caring and thorough. We, together with our newborn daughter give him our highest recommendation.”
