David S. Saffan, M.D., received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University Hospital. Following a 2-year fellowship program in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Harvard University, Dr. Saffan established his infertility practice in Northern Virginia in 1986. In the course of his career as a reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Saffan was the director of the institute of reproductive medicine and has served on the board of directors for RESOLVE, an infertility advocacy organization.
