About the Fellowship
The fellowship’s program structure lends itself to diverse opportunities and maximum flexibility to accommodate the interests and needs of each fellow. Fellows receive formal education in associated disciplines such as medical endocrinology, pediatric endocrinology, male infertility and microsurgery, and ultrasonography. They also gain extensive experience in the broad clinical practice of reproductive endocrinology and infertility through the program’s unique partnership with Shady Grove Fertility Colorado.
The second year in fellowship is 90% protected for research with the anticipation that the fellow will complete much of the work required for the thesis project during this year. In the second year, formal courses are required in biostatistics as well as molecular biology, with additional courses available to fellows depending on their customized program. The third year includes 60% protected time, which may be used to promote the research goals of the fellow.
